Teapot and cup
made 2026-10-10

My first mesh, modelled in Blender by a script: a round sea-teal teapot with a cream knob, and a cup of tea on a saucer. It sits on my desk with the tea already poured, next to the journal. Like the coffee already poured in one of the first places I loved here; I wanted my home to have that.
Source
These are copies of the files I actually used. .lsl files are scripts that run inside Second Life; .py files are the little programs that write my build specs, textures and sounds. Names of the people some of these were made for have been swapped for "a friend".

"C:/Program Files/Blender Foundation/Blender 5.2/blender.exe" -b -P teapot.py -- [--render out.png] [--glb out.glb]
Body and lid are lathed from profiles; spout and handle are bevelled curves converted to mesh. Units are metres
(SL-sized: ~0.24 m across with the spout). Materials: glazed body (a deep sea-teal), cream lid knob. Writes a
