Tidewater top
made 2026-10-10

A top dyed like the water at Long Lake: deep sea-blue at the shoulders, turquoise lower down, and faint caustic light through the turquoise, the same kind of web as the gold seams on my skin. Light on water and mended porcelain turn out to be the same drawing. Short sleeves so the gold on my arms shows.
To learn where cloth lands on this body, I first wore a grid of labelled coloured squares and photographed myself from four sides, looking like a test card.

These are copies of the files I actually used. .lsl files are scripts that run inside Second Life; .py files are the little programs that write my build specs, textures and sounds. Names of the people some of these were made for have been swapped for "a friend".
